TAHA Fresh is premier provider in Tanzania. Established in 2008, TAHA Fresh has become a one stop center for logistics services which are tailored to its customers' needs. The company has evolved from horticulture cargo handling to integrated logistics services covering airfreight and sea/ocean freight forwarding, trucking, customs clearing and forwarding as well as insurance. 

As the Sales Representative you shall report to the Sales Manager and be guided by the following duties and responsibilities;

Duties and Responsibilities
As the Sales Representative you shall doing the following;

2.1 Sales Management
Present, promote and sell company's services to existing and prospective customers by engaging different promotion platforms such as media, conferences, trade fairs, etc to ensure the company is visible
Perform cost and needs analysis of existing/potential customers and device strategies to meet their needs Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services, new services, technologies, customers' incentives, etc.
Conduct periodic customers analysis to study their trends, potential volume of business and engage strategies to seize more business from customers
Preparing quotations for new and existing customers and responding to all requests for quotes. This include follow up the quotes to seize business.
Prepare and present work plans, sales reports, pricing analysis, competition analysis, customer needs assessments and other reports relevant for management's decision making
Assist in recruiting and managing the sales team to ensure achievement of targets
Manage the World Cargo Alliance and other cargo networks to ensure timely response to requests, company membership is active and the management is informed of all ongoing activities in the networks

2.2 Customer Service
Establish, develop and maintain sustainable business relationships with customers through open and interactive communication
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards improving customer service experience and facilitating organic growth of the company's customer base
Communicate courteously with customers and provide help and advice using company's products or services
Assisting customers in processing claims/ refunds from service providers (eg. Airlines, shipping lines, insurance, etc) and ensuring such claims are paid timely and accurately.

2.3 Credit Control
Collaborate with Finance Department to deliver invoices, statements and credit notes timely
Manage customers account to ensure contracts are in place, credit limit is observed and collect all outstanding invoices from customers.


This include alerting the management when credit ceiling has been reached.
Conduct periodic customers review and advice the management credit worthiness of the customer
Any other duties that will be assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications
-3 years sales experience or a Diploma with at least 5 years sales experience.
-An experience in the logistics sector will be an added advantage
-Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
-Customer support experience and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
-A strong understanding and application of business relationship management (BRM) and customers
-Ability to establish and maintain productive and strong business partnerships
-Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
-Excellent knowledge of MS Office
-Proficiency in spoken and written English and Swahili
