Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) is a state owned company which has been operating even before liberation of the Insurance Industry in 1996 and registered according to Insurance Act Cap.394 of year 2009.


Zanzibar Insurance Corporation is looking for a qualified candidate to fdl the following vacancy;


Job Title: Secretary- 1 Post (DSM Branch)

  Report to: Human Resource and Administration Manager


Job Purpose A secretary provides clerical and administrative support, either as a team or individually. 

She/he is responsible for specific projects, as well as coordinating and implementing office procedures.


Duties and Responsibilities 

i. Meeting ,greeting and welcome visitors 

ii. Entering visitors details into the visit fog book  

iii. Taking incoming telephone calls in a professional manner

  iv. General administrative duties 1.e photocopying, incoming. !ding. booking and organizing board and or meeting rooms. accepting mails and couriers services  

v. Arrange meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes; vi. Invoicing;


vii. Other specific duties that may be required of !he secretary by the senior


Essential Qualifications   

Knowledge and Experience 

• Holder of Diploma in secretarial service from recognized institution with two (2) years of experiences,
• Computer literacy.


REMUNERATION
Remuneration will be according to ZIC salary scale and other terms and conditions of ZIC.
